Preparation before installation

Check whether the model and specification of the slewing ring are consistent with the design requirements, and whether there are defects such as damage and deformation in the appearance.

Prepare the tools needed for installation, such as cranes, wrenches, vernier calipers, feeler gauges, etc.

Clean the installation surface to ensure that the installation surface is flat and smooth, free of oil, burrs, impurities, etc., to ensure good contact between the slewing ring and the installation surface.

Conduct safety inspections on the installation site and set up necessary safety protection facilities to ensure the safety of the installation work.

Installation process

Positioning: According to the design requirements, the installation position line of the slewing ring is accurately drawn on the basis of installation, and the installation reference is determined.

Lifting: Use a suitable crane to lift the slewing ring smoothly, slowly move it above the installation position, and pay attention to avoid collision between the slewing ring and surrounding objects.

Tighten the bolts: After the adjustment is completed, the connecting bolts are tightened symmetrically and gradually using a torque wrench according to the specified torque value. During the fastening process, the levelness and position of the slewing ring should be checked many times, and if there is any change, it should be adjusted in time.

Lubrication: After the installation of the slewing ring is completed, it should be lubricated in time. Inject an appropriate amount of grease into the raceway, generally using lithium-based grease, which has good lubrication performance and can adapt to different working environments. The amount of grease injected should be determined according to the specifications and usage requirements of the slewing ring, which is generally 1/3 - 1/2 of the raceway space.

Sealing installation: Install the sealing device of the slewing ring, such as sealing ring, sealing gasket, etc., to ensure good sealing and prevent grease leakage and external impurities from entering the inside of the slewing ring.

Check after installation

Check the levelness of the slewing ring again and the tightening of the bolts to ensure that the installation quality meets the requirements.

Manually rotate the slewing ring to check whether its rotation is flexible, and whether there are abnormal phenomena such as stagnation and abnormal noise.

Check whether there is oil leakage at the seal, and if there is leakage, the cause should be found and dealt with in time.
